⇒ςΗℜ!$ Τ!ηξ♥ツ: How badly does a tragus and a helix piercing hurt?
HELP 😛 i am planning on getting my left tragus pierced and my right helix pierced.
I already have three piercings on each earlobe.
How bad is a tragus and helix piercing compared to ear lobe piercings?
Thank You!

i had my helix pierced with a piercing gun so it only hurt for like half a second it was fine, no worse than the lobes, it was like that with my nose piercing aswell. however it really hurt for months, i couldnt even touch it or sleep on that side. so i would recommend getting it done properly with a needle because they will put a proper earring in it which is a lot more comfortable than the cheap earrings you get when you have it done with a gun. but my mum had it done with a needle and she said it did hurt a lot.
with the tragus,i had that done properly with a needle and it did hurt, mainly because it was slow, it would have been fine if it was done with a gun. but obviously dont do that haha.
aftercare wise, i found the tragus a lot easier to clean and everything, and after a few days i could sleep on that side of my face with no problem! still love both the piercings, just try not to hit them or anything lol.
so yeah, the helix hurts the most afterwards, but the tragus hurts the most when its being done but is fine afterwards, just a small amount of bleeding. and they both look very pretty! so i guess it depends if you had your earlobes done with the gun or the needle. the needle hurts anywhere lol! but it is the best way. just gotta sit there and take it lol 😛 the few weeks afterwards will be really annoying when you cant really touch the piercings or change them, but after that it is worth it. my advice with the tragus, dont ever try to change the jewelry lol! the bar they put in it goes in from the back so you cant see and its so hard to get it back in and it really hurts, so just wait aaages to change it or go back to your piercer and they should do it for you. personally i would get the helix done first then wait a few months for it to stop hurting, and when it does, make sure you buy ‘labret studs’ to wear in it, that way you’ll be able to sleep on that side of your face. then get the tragus done, they will put a labret stud in that one anyway and it will heal fine 🙂
enjoy 🙂 sorry for the essay lol!
