I already have a camera for my personal pictures and everything, but I need a nice high quality one for my photography. And by affordable, like, $ 400 and less-ish? Giving out best answer.

I seriously doubt you’ll find a “high quality” camera for $ 400 or less. Of course, that all depends on your definition of “high quality.” Are you looking for a Point & Shoot, a Bridge Camera, or a quality DSLR?

My suggestion is to continue to save your pennies, double the $ 400 and get the Nikon D5000 or D90 with one or two kit lenses.

Look at 35mm SLR’s from the following manufacturers:
Nikon
Pentax
Canon
