what would be a “GOOD” tattoo machine for a beginning tattooer,not the best machine but far from the worst.

Good tattoo machines cost some money. $ 200 and up, at the very least. Any machine you buy cheaper than that is probably some mass produced Chinese piece of junk, which the market is flooded with right now. It would be better to start off with a quality machine to begin with. You won’t spend more time tuning it than you do working with it. Or throw it at the wall. Start with a reputable machine, and you’ll avoid mistakes.
