Yes I have hubby’s name (ROB) with a outline of a red heart around it!

I am just curious if anyone feels that strong about someone that they would tattoo someone’s name on their body.

My husband and I do not have tattoos, but we have both agreed that if either of us dies, the other will have the name of the deceased spouse tattooed in a band on their wedding finger. That is the only tatt that either of us would ever get.

Neither of us do. Then again, I can’t think of anything I would want permanently etched into my skin.

I once saw a guy who (truthfully) had three different women’s names tattooed into his arm and two of them were crossed out! It was a little funny…

i want to when i get married. ring finger. My friend has her name on 3 ppl. shes’s never been married. My aunt and her hubby have the date they got married on their ring finger. .I have another friend who has her husbands FULL name on her back. in huge lettters. thats a bit much for me. but yeah its pretty common occurrence.

Everyone I’ve met who has tattooed somebody’s name on their bodies has had that particular relationship break up. Think of Johnny Depp, who had to change “Winona Forever” to “Wino Forever.” Or Angelina Jolie, with her “Billy Bob” tattoo. It’s like the “sweater curse”, only more permanent. I’ve been married for 27 years, and I wouldn’t tattoo my husband’s name on myself!

one of the DUMBEST things I ever did……You should only put your mother’s name or your child’s name on your body. Putting your significant other’s name on your body is like a frickin curse!
When we parted, I had his name their everyday to remind me how pathethic the entire 9 years had been. I couldn’t wait to cover it up. It cost me 250$ but my BAT/with Moon & stars look beautiful and his name is just a memory in the wind!

I got a tatoo on my lower right calf an an alicorn (unicorn/pegasus). My husband got his when we began dating of dragons. We live in a hypocritical world. Love you today, someone else tomorrow.
I would never put a name on my body, not even my kids. I’m not a billboard. I always wanted one and I finally got one several months ago. I don’t regret it. I may even go for a second one. Just one more, that’s all.
