Borovichinovick: What would happen to religion if alien space civilization was confirmed?
What would happen to religion, specifically the Judaism, Christianity, and Islam if communications from outer space was confirmed and comes from an alien advanced space beings.
And they do not worship any type of religion and just guided by science and reason/logic.
We cannot communicate back as they “live” hundreds of millions of light years away.
How would each religious groups react and respond?

Christians would try and convert them all, knowing, of course, that they were created by god to serve them.

Don’t you watch Battlestar Galatica? Even the robots believed in religion!Answer by Brad

nothing..Answer by Hassan al-Adel
The Pope already has it covered by stating that alien intelligence would be compatible with a belief in God.
There are other people in the Old Testament that are not progeny of Adam and Eve. Who are they and where did they come from? Judaism has never questioned this.
Islam accepts that God/Allah created other worlds and populated them with life.
Nothing would change.
Answer by LaurenI wouldn’t be surprised and my faith wouldn’t be shaken, even if they were guided by science and not God. God created every human being on this planet, and yet many of them don’t believe in him. It would make since that there were alien races that also felt that way. I don’t know how any of the other religions would react.
