Because they all follow the God of Abraham, a person who is mentioned in the book of Genesis. But it should be noted that these three religions have different views of God and different spiritual doctrines.
They all purport to have Abraham as their “father.” Judaism follows the spiritual principles embodied chiefly in the Hebrew Scriptures and the Talmud. Christianity is founded on the life and teachings of Jesus. Islam is the acceptance of the doctrine of submission to Allah and to Muhammad as the chief and last prophet of Allah.
