jbeckfox: How do you handle a co-worker that is lazy and does not pull his fair share of the work?
The supervisor doesn’t do anything to change things. This co-worker is like like a “stong willed child”.

Don’t cover for them, and don’t enable them. Where I work everyone’s individual job affects another’s so it is easy to address laziness and accountability. I am responsible for my work, if someone has not completed something I need in order to complete my work, their supervisor knows it. I also do not assume responsibility for other peoples jobs, I am accountable for my work and they are accountable for theirs.
Talk to him seriously that he’s a bother and tell him why he should start working
