Zforce: How should my wife handle her birth control pills next time we go overseas?
My wife takes her pill about 3pm every day (Chicago time) recently we were in Ireland for a week. We forgot to ask a doctor or pharmicist what to do, so she started taking it at 3pm Ireland time, which probably messed up her hormones for a while.
What are we supposed to do next time we go to a different time zone like that?

Figure out what 3pm Chicago Time is in the time zone where you’re going, and take it then. So in Ireland, she should have taken them at 9pm Ireland time. If the time in the new place will be the middle of the night or something, then plan for that before she starts the new pill pack and change the time she takes it for that month only.
