There is exactly NO ways of getting 99 mage without spending a few mills.

I personally have fun while training mage…Castle wars using Ice Barrage. 80 mage ftw! Just have fun and it will fly by.

Go to the Fists of Guthix in the wilderness north of Varrock, they give you free runes that come back after each “battle”, and you dont loose anything if you die, and if you win you get tokens to get better stuff.
