She is probably ill or there is some kind of change going on in the household. Take her to the vet if it continues!
She is sending you a message. Is there a new visitor in the house or a new pet or a new routine? Your dog is annoyed about something unless it was a one time accident, maybe you didn’t take her out on time.Answer by alisongiggles

She might be upset with you about something and is acting out.Answer by livesoundtech
She may be sick, or she may have been holding it in for WAY too long. My dad’s dog does that on a rare occasion if she is not taken out. However, if you have been taking her out and she still did this, she may be sick. Ask your vet.Answer by godschildforlife
She could be trying to get your attention, or she may be sick, and can’t help it. If this continues, I would definitely take her to the vet and have her checked out. She could be having stomach problems, or something may be going on with her. Good Luck!Answer by Vanessa
Check to see if your dog doors are blocked by a trash can. Maybe they don’t have access to there usual litter area.Answer by amanda402
She might have just had tummy ache. Maybe trying to get your attention. There is a possibilty she could be ill too. As she gets older she may need to go outside more often, I had a dog growing up and as she got older she couldn’t hold her bowels as long as she could when she was younger.Answer by captn_carrot
The simple answer: In the dogs eyes, the status quo has changed.
Look around at what has changed recently as compared to before she started messing in the house. It could even be more than one factor.
A quick list of ideas:
1) Is the dog sick? maybe she just can’t make it outside, if not then consider the others ideas.
2) People / pets now ignoring her. Are you working more hours, have more responsibilities at home?
3) People / pets are now mean to her.
4) Something outdoors scared her. / Grass is too high / neighbors have a new dominate dog./ etc.
Think of what in her environment changed, and see if y’all can change it back to her “normality”.
Good luck

Answer by jerrielShe maybe have pooped inside your house once. Probably there was no way for her to get out of the house at that time and so she pooped inside.
The thing with dogs is that once they had marked a spot as their territory (marked by poop or urine) they will always renew that spot as their territory.
You have to erase that mark with bleach or something so that your dog wont smell her poop in that spot and scold her when she is going to poop in that spot again. By scolding her she’ll avoid pooping inside. You have to make it a routine to bring her outside to poop.
