Hiya,
well i go on holiday all the time and I can honestly say that the airplane has never been a problem for me. To be honest I love the airplane. Well when you set off it feels really fast and the you feel like when you are on a rolercoster and you go up the tracks. And when you decent it feels as if you are going down a bank fast. Then you hit the ground and the speed suddenly hits you and the plane will slow down and eventually come to a stop. Hope this helped. xxx
P.S Enjoy your holidayAnswer by Congas
I remember my first time on an airplane I was scared out of my mind, then when we finally took off I didn’t feel scared anymore I was actually pretty exited, I looked out the window during the whole flight. I really didn’t feel the take off and landing, it’s like when you’re in a car you just feel you start to move.Answer by Jeniferrpopins Poppinlol
well I have been on many planes like 40 and my daddy goes on planes every week for his job.
it is supposed to be glamorous and EVERY CELEBRITY and normal person does it, so have no fear. and I actually used to be scared. But its fine. You go on the plane. after the worst part. checking in and rushing and stressing in the airport. then you just relax find your seat and sit down.
now the engines make a lot of noise I mean ALOT but noise doesn’t do anything to the safety in fact everyone would be worried if they didn’t make noises. when it takes off it goes very very fast , you cant even feel it though. so you could just read while it takes off and then it goes upwards until it levels out again. this feels so normal for me but might feel different for you. then in the air have some sweets and relax 🙂 when it lands it is boring becuase you have to sit in your seat and you dont feel anything it goes down slowly. when it lands theres a bump and a little sound. then it gradually comes to a stop. then youy go off enjoy L A 🙂Answer by Doing the Math
Depends on whether they have served the “drinks already or not”. But really no different than quick acceleration in the car. They make a smooth landing so much so you don’t know you have landed when the wheels touch. So you can sleep through the whole thing. You get more feel of movement on a boat.Answer by J-ville boy
When you’re about to take take off. The airplane will go car speed. When it lifts off, you’ll feel the airplane angling up really high. By then, the ride will be smooth because when the airplane is on the ground, it’s a little bumpy. Next you’ll feel the airplane going a lot faster, as it’s faster in the air with the engines, BUT it’s not scary. Next you’ll feel the wheels being retracted back into the plane.
Landing, you’ll feel the airplane slowing down. When the plane touches down you’ll feel a slight bump. Everything past is normal.
It’s nothing bad. Turbulence isn’t bad either. It’s just a bumpy ride AND it’s impossible for the plane to crash, just a bump in the road. I personally LOVE turbulence. fun fun fun
Answer by jeaninei was terrified in my first flight, but ended up loving it. now i want a career in travel. but i did have a few problems the first few flights with being bervous and ears popped. some tips i used were suck on lolipop, chew gum and simply press your tongue to roof of mounth during lift off to help prevent ears from popping. and i took dramamine to help in my nevousness. original formula will make you sleepy, so depending on the length of flight, you may want to go for non-drowsy type or take half dose. dramamine is for sea sickness and flights, to prevent nasuea. it’s found in pharmacies or gas stations.
For me the take off and land is similar to a roller coaster ride. you fell the pressure going up then while in flight, it’s pretty much nothing. occasional rocking if you hit turbulance. the landing is just like that of a coaster that has been going so fast and now needs to stop. it most cases, the pilot does an extremely good job at a smooth landing. you will hear all the wind as you take off and land. gets kinda high pitched. not loud, but for my first time, it took me by surprise. i just wanted to prepare you. have a safe and enjoyable trip. i’ve been to vegas and it’s a blast.
p.s. when i was there, in casinos, we were allowed to walk the strip to another casino with our drinks in hand. casinos don’t care for the glasses. i kept one for suvineer. my friend who lives there stocked there bar with ‘free’ glasses.Answer by Alive and watching
Amusing yourself while you are on the plane: Books, magazines, crossword books, laptop, ipod…
If you decide to take a laptop and/or an ipod, don’t forget to check if it is allowed to turn on electric devices in the plane and remember to charge the batteries of them.
Don’t look through the plane window, only close your eyes and think about the good things you will do in L.A.
If you think you will feel nauseated, it is the case of taking some medicine, but do remember to consult your doctor before.
Thinking you are the most courageous and luckiest person of the world because you have achieved a goal that a lot of others would like to. So, being proud of yourself.
If you like music, board the airplane thinking about the Roy Orbison’s music “You Got It”:
(CHORUS)
Anything you want
You got it
Anything you need
You got it
Anything at all
You got it
Baby…
Congratulations!!!
Have a nice trip!
