Danielle: first time moving out of parents house and renting? WHAT DO I DO?
okay so im 18, i live in florida and im moving back to south lake tahoe for cc for a year. HOW do i find a place and all that stuff? what do i need to do? also to, will my financial aid and pelgrants pay for the rent ? or no?
okay for one, i used to live there and more than half the people that live there arent even that rich. and i dont need 4000 dollars a month. rent there is 500 if not 600 and the school there is like 80 dollars a class if not cheaper. and im more than sure my parents will help me out and not have me on the streets homeless. its just a damn question on how to do the rent process.

look on websites like rent.com or apartments.com.
I’m not sure if this is the exact cc that you are going to, but some schools have things like this were they recommend places to live that are near the campus:
I’m not sure if financial aid will pay for your rent because it is off campus, but you may contact them and see what they say.
Good luck, living on your own is great! 😀
Answer by LandlordI hope you have a lot of money. It is really expensive to live there.
I doubt you will have enough aid to pay for housing there, if you even get that much for a community college. You can count on needing at least 4000 a month just to live, and thats slumming it.
Answer by BossLadyDo all of your research before you actually move out, so that you won’t be homeless.
