What can you do with an English major, other than being a teacher?

Chead: What can you do with an English major, other than being a teacher?
This question is not meant to be insulting, but I’m just curious what to major in, and English is my strong subject.

You could go to law school

You can go into publishing or do editorial work at any number of firms.

My good friend has an english major and she is now doing copy writing for a company. She used to work as an editor as one of the other had mentioned as well.
