So glad you have a new dog. It sounds like a mix of several breeds. How long are his legs? Is he part golden retriever?
probably a yellow lab. Type in dog breeds. Pick one.Answer by jessica g
it sounds like a yellow lab or a mix. maybe even a shiba inu mix. but u can go to dogbreedinfo.com and see the breeds and pics too! its a great site and has a lot of info.Answer by Jen
Your vet should be able to tell you, or at least give you some idea as to what breeds your dogs originates from. 🙂
Hope it helps!
Answer by PRINTSCan you ad a picture to your posting? That would really help in helping to determine what type of dog it may be. 1 pic – 1,000 words.Answer by not tellin my name
Labrador Retriever, Yellow Lab, Golden Retiever, or a mix of lots of breeds.
MOST LIKEY A YELLOW LAB
You could ask the person you got your dog from if he knows?
Answer by Lisa RPost a pic of him here, I’m sure these lovely people would be happy to share their insight!Answer by Cee
A picture would help. Many dogs are yellow, and their fur not fluffy…are his ears upright, or floppy? Doesn’t the dog’s last owner know what breed it is? There are too many possibilities for an average size yellow dog who’s fur is not fluffy…a photograph would help…however if his last owners don’t know what he is…chances are you never will. If no one knows what his breeds are, he is a mutt, and that means he is simply a dog, with no breed.Answer by Pattie DeVoe
Type in the breed you think it isAnswer by sideris_et_animus
Breed isn’t an exact science. A lot of breeds come from other breeds so certain characteristics that would suggest one could come from another.
What color is the tongue and the skin around the eyes?
What color are the eyes?
How much does he weigh?
How long are his legs?
Does he have any patches or dark spots in his fur?
How does his tail curl?
Take him to the vet for his yearly exam and the vet can probably give you an educated guess on his breed.
Good luck!
Answer by lostSeeing a photo would really help.
How about a visit to the vet?
Where did you get the dog, can they give you any info?
Also, how old do they think the dog is? That would be a big help too..some pups need time for their hair to grow out.
