Kyle Stollings: does the government consider the world like risk… read below?
how many days did it take to start helping out with the hurricane katrine disaster 5 days..days to help out the haiti devestation 1 day…i ask my self why is that..is it because haiti is close to cuba and if the U.S gets benifits for helping them..which means we could put a airstrip and military there so we can surround cuba from the north east and west…ever hear of cuban missle crisis.? well if we attack cuba russia will join in and then our allies will join in and russians allies will join in and so forth..and we have a chance for a nuclear war….i also ask why do we have alaska and hawaii? is it because alaska is so close to russia and that hawaii is so close to japan.. i ask these question but with no answer..so yet again i ask another question why are they building underground places..is it to hide from the conspiracy theory of 2012 and the sun unleashing a deadly charge? or is it to hide from nuclear bomb? does the government just want to build up hype about 2012 to get our mind off what really could happen? but yet selective people know the answers to the questions i ask….

Good question, why did it take so long to respond to Katrina? But have to ask why we would want Cuba,we have the capability to reach any where in the world with in 20 minutes.Cuba would just be another dependent which we don’t need.
We’re not attacking Cuba, the government doesn’t consider the world to be like risk, this rant is infantile.Answer by Jay
You are comparing oranges with apples
.
It also took Bush five days to get to New York after September 11.
I think the dffierence in reaction time between the two tragedies is that the US government realising that it blundered after Katrina put in place better plans to react to such tragedies and then implemented them. In addition Bush was an idiot who in the aftermath of Katrina preferred to attend a fund-raising event in California and he put FEMA in charge of an incompetent in Michael Brown who only got the job because of his fund raising connections and not his administrative ability.
Answer by CvjedOk some of your rant is rational. I’ll answer what I can.
Haiti v Katrina…the world DID offer help right away, Bush REFUSED!
The Cuban missile crisis was 50 yrs ago. We found out later that Russia actually HAD PUT missiles in the silos, but they backed down. Russia is no longer communist(and hasn’t been for 25+ years) so they’re not real close with cuba anymore.
We have Alaska ‘cuz Russia sold it to us, and Hawaii ‘cuz we tricked their monarchy out of power.
Both of those acquisitions happened LONG before the geopolitics changed and made their proximity important.
NOTHING’s going to happen in 2012!! That’s just idiotic hype for a FICTIONAL MOVIE!!!!
Answer by Bob G…The return ofThe basic subject of your question is wrong. It took the idiot mayor and governor five days to authorize help. The feds were ready before Katrina struck.
Also, keep in mind that our jets and bombers could be over Cuba in a matter of an hour without strain. The airbases and naval bases are in Florida.
I think you are looking for something to be paranoid about. Relax, 2012 is just another year.
Answer by Kylecuba is the only communist country in the westren hemisphere and the u.s dosent like communist idea thats why we had the cold war pretty much..

Answer by FebruaryManRead the FEMA Report, 14 months AFTER Katrina, when Congress was “screaming for heads to fall”.
FACT: The City and State FAILED to give the Administration, including FEMA, the TRUE scope of the disaster, for 2 DAYS AFTER. When FEMA arrived they STILL hadn’t received the information about a LACK of mobility, including airports and blocked access routes.
There was PLENTY of blame to go around, but the Administration was NOT the direct cause of the delays.
Today, FEMA has immediate response teams, trained to arrive within hours of a disaster, do their OWN assessment and coordinate relief by THIER Operational Plan.
