I love you as to a friend, is Te Quiero or Te amo. IN spanish you can say Te amo to a very close friend, and the meaning is the same as if you are saying to a sister or parents, that you are very fond on that person.

“I Love you (as a friend)”— ¡Te quiero mucho!— In Mexico is pretty common when we say “te quiero” we always add “much” (very much)
