You can say: Feliz Navidad (un poco tarde) =Merry Late Christmas and

Happy New Year =Feliz año nuevo

I love you= Te quiero mucho (como amigo/a) yes it is

If you said it separetely will be: Feliz Navidad. Feliz Año Nuevo.

I love you as to a friend, is Te Quiero or Te amo. IN spanish you can say Te amo to a very close friend, and the meaning is the same as if you are saying to a sister or parents, that you are very fond on that person.
