: Do you talk politics with those who have different views?
I have talked politics in the past with my friends, and it would often turn into heated debates with hurt feelings. Are you able to talk about hot button issues with friends/family/etc?

In a day and age way back I could. Today my family members from the other side are too nutty and tea baggerish to logically debate with. So out of love I just avoid the topic.Answer by Kenny

Most of my family is liberal and whenever I try to counter their oftentimes baseless claims they get really defensive, as if I’m personally attacking them by criticizing what’s wrong with the government. It can be frustrating when the topic comes up, but I usually manage to keep my emotions in check.Answer by Sean
When talking about controversial stuff like politics and religion I typically listen and help them understand what they’re talking about.
I keep my own ideas/thoughts to myself, being agnostic about every subject it can be very confusing for someone to relate, so I don’t even bother.Answer by No gays atheists muslims Or illegal aliens please

Yes I do this daily, and we discuss not debate listen and exhcange view points with respect
