Anodized is a process by which metal is electrically bonded to another, usually a way to coat one kind of metal with another more valuable or more decorative one.

Riffs are a term for short melodies played usually on guitar than often occur over and over (such as the opening riffs to Bad to the Bone or Born to be Wild).

Heem of Love- invented word, might be slang or short for something.

A “perky riff” would be a lively bit of jazz, here presented as pleasant but not profound. “Anodized” is a metal-plating process that involves an electrically-charged solution, and here it presumably indicates that the “ole tune” has a highly-charged quality to it, along with its being gritty and yearning. “Deathly heem of love” would seem to suggest a strongly affecting quality of love, lust, or sex. But this isn’t particularly interesting. Sounds like the author doesn’t have a good command of the language, and is trying WAY too hard to impress the reader.

i think you should ask this question in other categories-relationships or so? but anyway, it means that a girl is being human by nature and thus do things to gratify pleasure to herself.

Perky riffs refer to a happy tune,what people expect to see,or what they believe they will see because that is what they have come to believe is common. heem of love seems to imply the same as above,what is common or expected out of love,but often not what is wanted. Anodized means simpled to be hardened against something. This being only part of a longer story(book) it attempts to state inner fighting….What the person knows he should want from love/life but does not in fact want or need.
