Cici: Do guys actually fall harder when they “fall in love” ??
I’ve had guy friends telling me abt how they “fell in love” with some girl. One said he courted this girl for OVER a year, even though she didn’t pay much attention to him…I told him that’s stupid and he should move on…but he says he was “in love”. Then other guys say the did all they could, sacrificed for some girl who didn’t know they existed…again, they were in love… what’s this? I’m just curious, what goes on in your mind and feelings?
ok the reason why i told my friend that was “stupid “is cos he said the girl was a b*tch to him, that is what he SAID and he is hurt at present. Thanks for answering though, but remember u don’t know me so don’t give me “expert advice” on how I never fell in love. Thanks lots to those who actually answered, as someone of the opposite sex, it’s just interesting to know more abt how guys think. Nothing less nothing more mmkay? 🙂

I’m guessing that you have never been in love! My boyfriend of 2 years has told me that he watched me for 2 years before being with me…like wanted to be with me but I was with other guys and finally when I broke up with my boyfriend, he broke up with his girlfriend and it just sorta happened! We are so in love! When you are in love then you will understand!

actually yes. I am in love with my best friend and have been for over 2 years even though most of that time she has had a boyfriend. I know she only likes me as a friend, but im gonna keep trying. I cant think about any other girls besides her. It is really making it impossible for me to date anyone else

Men are from Mars and women are from Venus, totally different gravitational strengths on both planets, a lot less on Mars so men don’t fall as hard.

But pain in the heart – well I guess we all find it difficult and painful to let go and move on at times – and both sexes suffer from it equally. Men usually do try and hide it more though. Part of our macho image you see

Well when A man is able to admit he’s in love he’s very serious, unlike women men aren’t up to the task of showing there feelings correctly or frequently. So for a man to go and fall in love shows he has very strong feelings.

I’m in the same situation. It’s a bag of mixed joy and pain. When I’m around this one girl, it’s almost like she makes me feel brand new, a better person if you will. There’s nothing in this world I would like more then to hold this girl in my arms, but too bad she doesn’t like me in the same way. Anyways, love is love. Us guys are too stubborn. I would hate myself for giving up on a good thing 😉 At least we’re trying!

I guess it’s the whole ‘guys pursuing’ girl thing versus vice versa, so they put alot of effort into the pursuing haha while alot of the times, the girls are waiting for the guys to do something.

YES THEY DO!no matter this girl ignore him ,they dont give a damn all they knew is i love this girl so much (i been into few failure relationship 3 recent break up but this guy name Mark still asking me to give him a chance hes always been there for almost 3years now,and still waiting ,i felt guilt everytime .coz i cant find space for him inside my heart) you see thats the nature of guys who really feel in loved…
there not stupid ,there inloved… so understand them ok.
