Alyas (FrmYmn): Did those stereotypes and tainted words about islam really work?
Rationally speaking, What did the islamophobics achieve by all the media stereotypes to taint muslims and their religion?
Did they really achieve anything out of it?
The truth speaks for itself and the statistics say that more people are actually converting to islam. There are smart people who believe in themselves, not in what others judge.

No, they made me have a look at the Koran though, and confirmed my belief that it was absolute crap.
The stereotypes were completely justified, people of the islamic faith carried out a string of horrific attacks.
You would expect people to get annoyed.
Answer by Mr. Derp!!!Yes.
People converting is proof it is correct.
Why didn’t I see that before?
Answer by nondescriptMore people are actually deconverting from Islam and Christianity.
Those with no religious belief is the fastest growing religious sector.
Besides, much of the Islamic population is only Islamic in name. Usually it is because the government pushes the religion on its people. When I went to Iran, all the women put scarves on when the plane landed. When I left, all of the women took their scarves off when the doors to the plane closed. People over there are only following the rules. They aren’t really that much into Islam.
Answer by ♥Ŝåƒϊ♥ ٭ẠτЋєąŧї٭Unfortunately, many people who didn’t know anything about Islam or Muslims 15 years ago, now hate them without ever having met or spoken with a Muslim in person.
Thanks, media.

Answer by LiberalowingsPolitics and Popular Opinion is a powerful tool. Even if we decide, decades down the line, that Islam is a religion of peace (which I believe it is), Islamophobes have done the damage and planted seeds of hatred and intolerance for generations to come. From now on there will always be a fringe group or two that hates Muslims, like the Orange Order against Catholics.Answer by Cirbryn
It’s not “Islamophobes” or the media that are giving Islam a bad name, it’s fundamentalist Muslims themselves. How many Muslims were dancing in the streets after 9/11? https://www.free-press-release.com/news/200409/1078863738.html How many Muslims were rioting over cartoons printed in a Danish newspaper? https://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/4681294.stm How many Muslims have murdered young women for trying to marry outside their faith or for refusing to wear a headscarf or for being raped https://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/7708169.stm ? How many have tacitly encouraged such murders, or sought to downplay them, or stood by and let them happen instead of working to prevent them? What have you personally done about such acts of brutality committed in the name of your religion? The stoning victim in the most recent link above was 13 years old. She was buried up to her neck in a public stadium, pleading for her life, and at least 50 men through stones at her until she was dead. Over 1,000 people stood by and watched. Her crime was “adultery” resulting from having been raped. If you are not outraged and disgusted then either you aren’t paying attention or you are part of the problem. Don’t waste your time trying to tell non-Muslims like me that these people don’t represent your religion. Show it. Do something about it! Stand up against it! Stop enabling it by trying to downplay its significance! This is not a case of a few isolated incidents, or misguided and unrepresentative zealots. It is indicative of a disregard among a large percentage of Muslims for basic human rights and human dignity. Ninety eight percent of foreign women have been sexually harassed in Egypt. https://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg16795.html Two thirds of Egyptian men admit to harassing women, and more than 50% of men claim the women themselves are to blame. Ninety one percent of Egyptians interviewed shortly after 9/11 said they supported the attacks (see my first link). Even in America, terrorism was only rejected by 78% of Muslims interviewed. If you are Muslim you should be talking to them and people like them, not to me. There are several excellent reform movements within Islam. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberal_movements_within_Islam Join one of them! Make Islam something worth defending.Answer by Hamid
They are not talking about real islam, but they are talking about some the wrong symbols of it. for example some people that islam is their main slogan, but they are not real moslem, they are just some stupid people that have power, media & etc. for this reason other people can’t understand the real islam.
The fact here is, their words about these wrong symbols are true ! but about the Islam. People are free in the world to decide about their own life, and nobody can disturb this freedom, and everybody are free to talk about their own beliefs.
