On each computer make a folder (directory) as shared so in windows explorer (not internet explorer) open drive c: (local drive) and then highlight a folder and the edit and click on sharing and you’re done. You should know the name of each computer so you can log into that shared folder on the other computer. For example to see desktop from laptop open windows explorer and make a new drive letter under tools-map network drive, select a new drive letter (not existing on either system like F: or higher) and type in the location like H://desktop nameshared folder name and you should be able to then log on to the desktop and same for going the other way. Once connected like this you can copy files, play videos and whatever.
remote connection you need
read about it and then try it
