i am a high school sophmore this year. I live in a small town in northwest Ohio and i have always counted on starting college early. That meaning this upcomming summer. I knwo this is possible through certain colleges but since im only 16, i don’t know how to get enrolled and where i can go and such. Any information on how i can start college this summer?

Call the college and ask for a tour and additional enrollment information. They will be happy to help you out.

Go to your school’s advisor (or the just the office for information) and get some info. Most likely they’ll have something you can learn.

Also, start emailing colleges about it. That will make sure you have accurate info =] Then hurry and enroll in a few courses!

If you mean you plan on leaving high school and beginning college the summer before junior year, (being done with high school), that is nearly impossible. I don’t see how you could get enough credits to graduate in only two years. However, if you mean you want to begin college classes during the summer between high school, you can do that in a number of ways. You can find a private university that offers simmer programs that give you college credit, or you can enroll at your community college. You might even be able to get both high school and college credit through those courses (depending on the course and your high school).
