: COLLEGE?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?
I have a few questions about college….
1. when u apply, do u apply for specific classes or are all the classes available to you?
2. if you are planning on becoming a brain surgeon, after you graduate, where do u go to school next?
3. do you write an essay to apply or have an interview? or both?
4. what does a college application look like?
5. if u apply for more than 1 college, do u have to write a essay or have an interview with all of them?
thank you so much! 🙂

1. You apply to the college. Once you get in, you can take whatever classes you want.
2. 4 years of college (any major and the premed classes), 4 years of medical school, 5 years of general surgical residency, 5 more years of fellowship in brain surgery. Then you can get a job.
3. Some colleges require that, others don’t.
4. You can easily find them online.
5. Yes, if they require that.

1. The first two years you take generic classes then start taking ones for your major and after that you mostly take only calsses related to your major.
2. I’m not sure but you’ll have to go to medical school, get a regular MD that all doctors get and then get a special degree for brian surgery.
3. You definitely write an essay, if the college is a college that does interviews and is thinking about accepting you but not sure then you’ll have an interview.
4.
There you can download common ones.
5. You may re use an essay for all of your applications you may not need to have any interviews at all, or you may have one for every college you apply to. It depends on the college.
Hope this helps also go to www.collegeboard.com they have a lot of information about college.
heres when to apply:
You can apply starting in your senior year, you can apply early in your junior year but then if the college accepts you in your junior year you have to go. It’s best to fill out applications in summer between junior year and senior year and submit them in senior year fall.Answer by raina_vissora
1. You don’t apply for classes. You apply to a school under a specific program of study (aka a major). If you are accepted, you may then *register* for classes. Not all classes will be open to you as an incoming freshman, because many will have prerequisites that you will not yet have satisfied.
2. Once you obtain a bachelor’s degree, you will be eligible to apply to and attend medical school.
3. It depends on the college. Some require an essay on the application. Some require and interview. Some require both.
4. Usually like a standard application form you’d fill out to apply for anything else… but geared toward academics.
5. What do you mean “if” you apply to more than one? You’d be wise to apply to every college you’re remotely interested in attending, because you may not get your first choice (or your second choice, for that matter). You will have to fill out an individual application for each school. What is required on each application will vary by school.
