Reach: Why do Christians claim God is loving and forgiving when everything He does is the exact opposite?
God has murdered more people than every despot and dictator in human history combined. The flood, sodom, hell, egypt’s first born…
As an atheist I will be going to hell for eternity because I don’t worship and love God. Does that really warrant an eternity of torture? Really….?
Yet He is loving and forgiving?

Apparently the Christian god has a very different methodology when it comes to matching the severity of a punishment to the supposed crime. It also seems to follow the reverse of what the United States considers to be a fair legal system (innocent until proven guilty).
So yes, I’d agree – it does not seem to be loving and forgiving.

They’re like women in abusive relationships who think their husband loves them even while he’s beating the hell out of them.

“God does not murder; men do.”
So a man found and kicked over a bucket of water big enough to flood the earth?
You fail.
If death is just the beginning, then how foolish is your assertion?

The carnal mind cannot comprehend the things that belong to God, therefore it is futile to attempt, except you were to believe. God deals with us exactly according to the law of equity (fairness); if we forgive other´s, then He will forgive us; but if we forgive not other´s, then neither will He forgive us: This is exactly fair!Answer by richard m
think about it logically, if you were writing a novel how many readers do you think you would get if your book was full of loving and forgiveness. the most successful fiction has lots of sex and violence, same with the book christians think is actual fact, would be like me thinking harrold robbins writes non fictionAnswer by Scurvy Gums Ramona

Your God must be Satan.
I follow the God who sent His Son into the world to die for the sins of the world; the God who loved me when I was a damned fool, and who gave me the gift of eternal life and constantly blesses me day after day, filling my life with good things.
His grace is for those who believe in Him. Why should you expect any good thing from Someone that you constantly slander and hate?
He has something else in store for you – unless you repent and believe the Gospel.
THIS IS GOD HERE,
DEAR HUMAN I AM GOD, YES I’LL BE SENDING YOU TO THE GATES OF HELL. IT’S A BIT LIKE MAGALUF BUT ON SUN LIKE TEMPERATURE SUMMERS DAY AND LESS BRITS, YOU’LL BE SERVED HOT ROST BEEF ON TUESDAYS AND SPIT ROAST PORK FRIDAYS. WHEN PEOPLE DIE I SEND THEM TO THE CARRIBEAN, YES THATS RIGHT.
YOURS SINCERLY GOD.

Ahh…Hell doesn’t kill people. =
As an atheist you’re making decisions in life to lead you away from God. You’re choosing not to make him a priority in your life, and you’re living your life separate from him.
Hell is eternal separation from God…so, one could make the argument that he’s merely giving you what you’ve been asking for with your actions.
We, as mortal beings, are limited in what we can see. We make decisions based on the here and now, and using basic reasoning we try to assume what kind of repercussion the decisions will bring. However God is omnipotent; all knowing… all powerful… as far as the heavens are above the earth, his ways are above our ways, his thoughts above our thoughts.
When a child is in the middle of the road playing with his toys, and a parent runs out and brings him in, he sees it as unfair. Why can’t I play in the road? It’s fun. I like it. Why shouldn’t I be able to?
We are like children. We think we know the answers, but we cannot in our limited understanding be expected to know why God does the things he does.
You sir, are missing the context of the Bible. Read into the verses and immerse yourself deeper into God’s messages like “bears mauling children” and “how to treat slaves” and “reasons to burn villages with children” and “prostitution” and so on…
The Lord has blessed us with his Word. That word apparently is based on the video game DOOM.
