D: Cheap accommodation in Pamplona, Spain for the running of the bulls?
Could anyone suggest any websites or places to stay that are relatively cheap during the festival. Not including the campsites and i am aware that I have booked quite late so it will be hard to get cheap accommodation. Its for 2 people. Any type of accommodation will do, whether it is a hostel or whatever. Answers will be much appreciated.

My friends slept on a park bench!
Many of the cheaper hotels will be fully booked now
I just checked in ac-hotels.com there’s two. One in my town, and one in the city
You might have luck in some of the larger more expensive hotels because of the recession
You could also try the dorm’s for example to the University Public of Navarra, they are located next to the Public Universities main campus. And the Football Stadium (Kingdom of Navarra)
– You can’t longer sleep fully in the plaza, although I’m sure many people still do lockers and showers are becoming less common (especially the free ones!)
You could rent a car, and sleep in that… but be very careful where you park. and don’t drive drunk the police presence increases A LOT, and the Foral Police aren’t above random stopping of vehicles under the terrorism laws
You can use the yellow pages, and ring around some hotels.
Or even Google Earth (The actual program) list’s many of the hotels
Because you’re looking for this year, and how late in the year. I think your main concern should be finding somewhere. Not so much on price.
— don’t be outside of the city… once you’re very drunk and fall asleep in the park you won’t know where and how to get back to your hotel. And you simply won’t want to
Answer by zafirAccommodation in Pamplona not only triples in price during San Fermin, but is also booked out in the city and surrounding areas for months, sometimes a year, in advance. Sleeping rough might be your only choice!
Here’s a link to a hostel which might help, but note the prices listed will certainly be much higher during the festival, and there’s no guarantee that the hostel will have beds available. But they could also suggest other places to book:

“Cheap” during the running of the Bulls, when you have waited this long to think about booking, is about $ 400 Euros a night per person.
You’re much more likely to find someplace to stay in Madrid, and commute to Pamplona. And THAT is a looooooooooooooooooong way!
