Was she house trained? If not, then that’s probably your problem. If not, then I can’t think of anything else that might be the problem. Hope she get’s used to using her litter box once she does!

Answer by MeowOK first is her litter box by her food or water (if it is move it because cats don’t like to go to the bathroom where they eat) second what kind of cat box do you have ? If it has a lid try taking it off. Third where is the cat box located, is it in a fairly private place? (cats like a little privacy when using the litter box) . If nothing else works there is a cat litter called cat attract that has worked for me before you could try that . You should also take her to the vet and see if she has a urinary tract infection , that can cause inappropriate urination as well. Hope some of this helps. As for the smell zero odor is a great product for getting cat pee smell out of things .Answer by ash_stevenson_06
does your cat have a covered litter box? if not get her one, its more private. also, she may not want to pee and poop in the same place….it sounds weird, but my grandparents had a cat that was like that. about the clothes…all i know to do is wash stuff before the pee dries. that always works, after it’s dry…i don’t know what to tell you…sorry. hope some of that helps.Answer by Marie
My 2-year-old Bengal female pisses the rugs in our house too. The amazing thing is that it’s always in the same place! If you catch your cat squatting on the rug go towards them and shoo them away! It will save your rug and teach her how to behave properly. Your female may be doing this because she is seeking dominance over others or attention. If there are other cats in the house, keep them in a seperate area away from the piss-crazy female, or just put her in the basenent (if you have one) with some toys, food, and water dishes. This behavior is what wild cats would do to make scent markers that mark their territories. If she does let out a leak put her nose in the spot and slap her rump. This will make your cat associate rug pissing with getting wet and will make her stay away from that sort of behavior again.
Another possibility would be that your cat does not like the smell of the litter in the box or that the box is in an open place or within 20 feet of her food source. Wild cats have a specified area for eating, usually in the middle of a clearing, and another specified area for going to the bathroom, usually out in the trees behind a large sheltered bush or tree. The space also has to be big enough so she will be able to fit in. Be alert… Keep an eye on her!
If none of these work, buy some packs of newborn diapers and cut a hole for her tail to fit through. She’ll hate it, but it will teach her to behave!
Answer by Christina WWell, it could be she just does not like the litter! That is a common problem believe it or not. Try another brand. Maybe ask your vet or someone else you may know with cats. Our favorite litter is Fresh Step Clumpable. Not the cheapest but our cats liked it. No crystals in it though! Lots of cats don’t like to step on them; it bothers their feet.
Take her to a vet and see if she’s having any urinary tract problems because peeing out of the box is one symptom of a UTI. Even try feeding her food geared toward Urinary Tract health (Purina One Urinary Tract Formula for example).
It’s hard to get pee smells out of clothing but try maybe soaking your clothes in a bucket/bin with Oxy Clean before you wash. Or check around stores for other items that might specialize in this.
Cats generally don’t like citrusy smells so try putting orange peels or orange scented air fresheners in the areas where she pees. There’s sprays and stuff out there to help. Repellents and such.
Good luck!
Answer by Flutter GirlWhen a cat does not use its litter box, and it used to before, it could be a sign of a health problem. It could be a UTI. It might be painful for her, and she’ll associate the pain with the litter box. Has she been to the vet lately for a checkup? How old is she? Here is a site that might be of help to you. It explains the possibilites for this and how you can fix it. If you think it is a health related problem after reading, please get her to the vet ASAP. Good luck.Answer by kath
make sure you are not using a scented litter because cats don’t like it. i did start mykittens off using wood based pellets but now they have clay litter. she may not like it if it is a clumping litter. i use catsan one of the best you can buy. you may need to litter train her to use a litter box if she has never been taught. until she learns good manners in this area, do not leave clothing washing or otherwise around for her to wee on. and close bedroom doors. to get the smell out of clothes when my kittens were having little accidents while they learnt bathroom manners, i used 1 part vinegar to 4 parts water in my prewash cycle, a biological washing poweder if your skin can tolorate it and a strong smelling fabric conditioner. by the way you don’t mention where she does her number twos if she does them in the litter tray she may have a bladder problem which needs to be checked by a vet. hope my advise helps. you will also need to get some fabric spray like fabreze to spray over all soft furnishings.Answer by 3cats
Make sure she doesn’t have a Urinary Track Infection first by taking her to the vet. If she associates the pain of going to the bathroom with the litter box, then she’ll stay away from it and use other places around the house to pee. Also, try changing the brand of litter box. Cats usually like clumping litter. I buy Arm and Hammer for my cats and they like it. Also, make sure your cat is drinking lots of water and eats canned foods also which contain mostly water. Drinking water will prevent urinary track infections in the future.
