7_7_7: Can you ask management to keep a reasonable accommodation request confidential?
It’s a Federal Department employer.
The condition is well documented and already known to the Department.
Does the employer need to keep the reason for the “reasonable accommodation” confidential if asked to do so?

Seems to me it would be visible to other workers anyway.

I don’t think the ADA or HIPPA require this confidentiality.
