keiki_co: Can blood after wiping and in the panties for one day be the signs of impending menstruation in a 10 year old?
My 10 year old daughter had some blood after wiping and then in her panties that same day. She hasn’t had anything since could it be sign that her period is on it’s way?

I do think it is a sign. I would just be sure that she has some pads for herself so that if it does start soon, she can take care of it.
no… go c a doctor…. it happend 2 me and i had tis weird diesease thingAnswer by Heather
definitely, but be sure she has not tiny scratches or tears. sometimes scratching or wiping too hard can cause bleeding. my daughter started at age 10.Answer by DueJuly2

Make sure that she didn’t injusre herself in any way or if anyone touched her. Blood from menstrual period will stay for at least 2 days continuously. Its usually dark in color and thick. If this isn’t the case have a good talk with your daughter and have her checked by a doctor.Answer by Amanda Y
i don’t know but maybe if you made an appointment for her to see her doctor he or she may have a better answersAnswer by Becca M
It could be but that sounds a little serious. No offense at all, but do you not have anyone else to ask this question to? I’m not trying to insult you just concerned. You need to have her examined immediately. So please, take her to the Doctor or ER right awayAnswer by Sonya T
maybe her hymen broke, like by itself, but it could also be her period, go see a doctor. I started at 11 :/Answer by gigimae101
sometimes the body is gearing up for the cycle and it may come and go for a couple of months. if you think that there is a problem take her to your pediatrician and he will be able to help you with this and if she is comfortable with him or her she will be able to discuss the other symptoms. take care
and ps you should talk to her about the possibility that she will be getting it soon.

Yes, it seems more younger girls are starting there periods at very young ages these days.
It also could be a UTI, or the start to a bad Vaginal infection of some sort (Not STD) Yeast infection can be bloody as well
Take her to the doctor.
