moderation became an important element in buddhism – one of the pillars in the eight-fold path to inner peace. wat is moderation and how does it distinguish buddhism and hinduism???

Moderation is not using excessive question marks ????? It means “being within reasonable limits; not excessive or extreme”

Moderation is a similarity, not a distinguishing feautre between buddhism and hinduism. Both religions share the same root.

Moderation is keeping/doing something in a reasonable amount; not excessively. Don’t overeat. Take/keep only what you need. Etc.

Both religions practice moderation. Buddhism and Hinduism share many beliefs/ideals; just like Chrisianity, Judaism, and Islam share many morals, as they all came from the same ancestors/founders.

Moderation is often described using this analogy:

If you’re tuning a stringed instrument, you can’t tighted the strings too much, because they will break; if you leave them too loose, they won’t play. In order to make them play, you have to tune them to the correct, moderate level of tightness. This is called The Middle Way.
Gautama Buddha’s first spiritual path was among Hindu teachers, including ascetics, who practiced very severe forms of physical mortification. In the end, the Buddha rejected these, and adopted the Middle Way.

moderation is the place where you are balanced not too much not too little. in this state you will not have the fear of losing you huge treasures or the greed to get more and go over others. you are conscious about the truth and you are not going to make the mistakes that others are going to make by going to the far end or not going at all.
