Snowcone :3: How do get an 11 year old boy to stop believing in Santa?
My little brother is 11 and still believes in Santa. Either that or he doesn’t and he just doesn’t want to admit it. My mom wants him to know, she thinks he’s getting too old or something..How do we get him to realize, or tell us, that Santa is not real? Thanks.

act like you still beleive in santa too and say that you two should set up a camera on christmas eve so that you can see santa. When he wakes up and watched the tape he’ll realize that its just your parents putting the presents under the tree.
I found the list of presents ‘santa’ got me, my mum told me she met up with him so that she didnt get the same presents as him LOL. I believed her at the time but you could try something like that, or get other family members to tell him he doesn’t exist. It was my nan who told me he wasn’t real 🙁Answer by Kayla
just tell him the truth. honestly ive known santa isnt realy since i was 8. thats just pathetic. the next time he says something about santa or reindeer just say that its not real.Answer by Selkie

i think just telling him is the only way
Answer by Poppy_88Im sorry but whats the big deal if he believes in santa. 11 is not too old to still believe. it actually made me sad when i read your question. ive never heard of a parent trying to make a child NOT believe in something.Answer by Rachel
Maybe your brother knows that there isn’t a Santa Claus but hasn’t told anyone. You know, it’s still kind of fun pretending that is one.
Besides, what is it really going to hurt if he does believe in Santa? There is so much bad stuff in this world and he is going to be aware of this soon enough. Let him enjoy some good stuff before all the reality and negativity takes over.

11 is NOT to old to believe in santa. that would be extremely mean if you told him that santa isn’t real. let him believe !!Answer by Diet Pepsi Max Fan
Stop talking about it. Stop saying anything about Santa and by next Christmas, he’ll figure it out on his own. That’s a much better way to learn.Answer by Samantha <3
Well.. just tell your mom to calmly talk to him and explain to him that Santa Claus is not real and how it was your mom/dad putting the presents under the tree. Santa is a made up character.
Good luckk!!

if he really does believe in santa then you just need to be honest with him if you don’t and try to have him figure it out on his own it may upset him. my brother believed at 11 too or so we thought. he actually stopped believing at about 9 but acted like he still did because he thought he would get less presents if my parents knew he didn’t believe.Answer by N A C

We’re just did the exact same thing with my 12 year old sister. We told her to go to school and ask her friends. They all told her, he wasn’t real and she felt like a baby when she was the only one. It worked for my stubborn little sister, hope that helps you a bit!Answer by ♥chipcheep♥
but ….. santa is real, HE IS!!Answer by Dakota K
Seriously. Look at what your typing people. your planning on taking a kid’s belief in Santa because he’s too old? Come on, there is nothing wrong with believing… even if its fake. It adds excitement to Christmas to believe in someone coming down your chimney and leaving presents… a lot better than saying “Yeah, we came out of our bedrooms and just put the presents under the tree.” Seriously? Do any of the adults even come close to remember what it was like to believe in something. If you take that away, its like telling any religion that their god doesn’t exist.
