If you catch it in the air the person is out.
you should always throw to the 14thbaseman! He will cut it off at the pass, and keep those people from touching housedish.Answer by hellion210
well, that depends on what bases have runners on them. if theres a guy on 1st that is headed to 2nd, throw to 2nd to stop him from progressing. if he needs to tag up at first, throw to first to get him out.
overall, if you see someone running, throw the ball where they’re gonna go, and you’ll be ok.

Depends on where you are in the field. left and centre field goes to shorstop or second base, right field and centre goes to second base the infield player will usually come out a little to take the relayAnswer by ryan o
It all depends…..If there is nobody on base you throw it too the nearest infielder. If you have a runner on first you throw it too second base which could be either the SS or 2b men. If you have runners on 1st and 2nd then you throw it too third base. If you have just a runner or 2nd then you throw it too the cut off man usually the SS unless the runner is tagging then you may also throw too 3rd base. If you have runners on 1st 2nd and 3rd then you throw it too the cutoff man, usually the SS or go too homeplate if the runner is tagging up. If you have a runner or 3rd and 2nd or just 3rd or 3rd and 1st you go to the cut off man.Answer by jacj ainshowor

It all depends on what bases have players on them.Answer by westsida
Depends on the situation of the game. If there are two outs, then you just run back to the dugout, because your catch made the third out. If there are runners on base, you want to make sure that you throw the ball into the infield as soon as you can to make sure the runners stay and don’t try to tag up and run to the next base (i.e. a runner on 2nd base will try to run to third, so you will throw it to third). If you are waaaaaaaaaaay out in the field when you catch it, you throw it to your cut-off man, who will be waving his glove frantically at you.Answer by slim baller
always throw it home…..Answer by jcr3_2002
you run over and give it to a kid in the stands, then you realize that it wasn’t the third out and you run back and take it away and throw it home. Then the umpires convene and decide that since the ball left the playing field it is a dead ball and the runners advance one base. oh yeah don’t forget to sign the ball and give it back to the kid.Answer by Brandon N
for sure u dont throw it to the pitcher from the outfiled. you either throw it to second base, third base, home plate, or to a cutoff man, which can be any infielder.Answer by Bridget
it depends on where the baserunners if any are and what posion you are in the outfield. If there is a person on 1st base and you are in left field, you throw the ball to short stop. If instead of left field, you were in right field, you would throw it to the second baseman. If you were in centerfield, you would throw it to the person(2nd or shortstop) who is not covering second base. If there was a runner at 2nd and you were in left field, you would throw it to shortstop. If you were in right field, you would throw it to the second baseman who then would throw it to 3rd. If you were in centerfield, you would throw it to shortstop. If there was a runner at third base, and you were in left field, you would throw it to home or the shortstop. If you were in right field, you would throw it home or to the second baseman. If you were in center field, you would throw it to home or the second baseman or short stop.Answer by Denise B
