Joe Bagadonuts: Are the main religions who follow a messiah or single god the same?
Nearly Everyone believes in a godly figure to the son of a single god who walked this earth. The three main religions who are nearly the same teachings, story, etc etc are Islam, Christianity, and Judaism. My question asks, while given the evidence that these many areas of the world were able to come up with practically the same religion, Was their Messiah real? Or were their teachings just coincidence to being so similar.

I think Jesus was a real human being…..but not a son of God…..i think the people who wrote the bible just made him look like a god like figure so people could worship him…..I mean he walked on water??….yeah right…lol…bible is a myth book…its no different from a hindu book.

The Messiah – Light of the World (Jesus Christ) failed his mission.

He gave up,..collected his death benefit,.so to speak,..

He talked of this: ” If you think I am going to be a King, Emperor,..
Pharoah,..etc,..for you,..no,..?!! As, I will go to my father,..I am
not going to be too great before time,.!?!” I will go but My father
will send another,..the being will do it all,..Who was the being
God sent,..?? Aaahhhaaa,..?!? They talked of one named John.
John is to come,..He be the Wonderful Counselor, the Lilly of the
valley,..the Bright Morning Star,..,..The Conservationist,.?!??

Sooo,..Our Lord stated: ” When you see John,..You’ll be seeing
Me,..,..!?! Is all he should have done,.. to be done by John,..,..
with he pitching in,..as helper for John,.??

Judaism, the religion of Israel and/or Judea developed the idea of “The Messiah”, who would be a anointed human ruler/leader/priest (messiah means anointed by God to lead or be a king) that would reunite and restore Israel as a powerful kingdom. A messiah is a human leader and not a godly or divine figure. God is God, angels are angels, and humans and their leaders are human. Christianity came hundreds of years later and perverted the messiah idea with non-Jewish ideas of god and came up with a mix of Jewish beliefs and a non-Jewish man-god sun-god idea (similiar to the gods they already knew) and called their “son of god” Jesus and eventually also as God. Islam came many more hundreds of years later, using the holy writings of Judaism and the bible of Christians and started a new religion based on some of the ideas of those writings. Islam came later and it does not teach that Jesus was a “messiah” or a man-god nor god, but only a prophet or messenger of God, who was just one of many prophets who came before their greater prophet called Muhammed.

The similiarities and the vast differences between their teachings aren’t co-incidental but are quite deliberate (except for the basic beliefs of Judaism which preceeded Christianity by about 500 years and Islam by over 1000 years).
