I’d say a polka-dot pattern. Jk. I’m not sure myself. Good question. They to me are so very different. One is a strict, proud religion that holds strong traditions and beliefs. And the other is freestyle, more of way of life than a religion. How they intermingled is a fascinating question. I’m not sure.

In SEA, the only islamic countries that i know of is Malaysia and Indonesia. The other countries at the northern SEA are mostly countries with buddhism as their main religion.

Islamic came to these 2 main countries when the time of the spice age where travelers and traders came to the Malacca straits. This is where Islam was spreaded in SEA at the old ages
