It is safe but could have an unpleasant taste.Salad dressing is usually made with olive oil
You can use vegetable oil as a substitute for salad oil, but olive oil is better. It also depends on your tastes. But it’s all safe and as many seasonings as there are in that recipe, vegetable oil would be just fine. Or you could also use half vegetable oil and half olive oil.Answer by RSJ
My preference is extra virgin olive oil. But any type of veg oil or canola oil is a salad oil and will work just fine. With your recipe, you won’t taste the oil as much because of the ketchup and worchestershire so use whatever you have on hand.
