JusWondering: Are my male breasts larger than normal?
I am about 11% bf.
I am a runner and don’t really have a developed chest, although I can bench 160X10 or so, so I’m not like a complete weakling. Anyways, I notice my nipples (which are larger than average, I’m fairly sure) seem to make themselves visible in half my shirts (although when I cut down on sodium, or after an intense workout, they become noticeably smaller), and I started wondering if it’s because I have the G-word condition of enlarged breasts. Now, but no means am I even remotely close to being able to wear a bra. When I straighten my posture and flex my chest (by putting my hands at just behind my hips and pushing forward), my “breasts” pretty much disappear. But when I sit slouched in a chair, as now, I can definitely “shake” my breasts a bit by using the opposite hand. Or if I stand up, but don’t really straighten my posture, it seems like my chest is flat up top but slightly protrudes closer to the nipple.
My problem is I don’t know what to make of it… 11% bf isn’t like… air-tight, by any stretch… So I’m fairly certain that it’s just natural fat. But I don’t KNOW how much body fat is naturally distributed to the male breast!
A last note. My right pectoral is stronger and slightly bigger than my left, and my chest “protrudes” visibly more on that right side.
I’m just trying to figure things out. Yes, my nipples sometimes poke a bit, but by no means would anyone seeing me in the locker room conclude that I have male breasts… If they are there, they are very tiny… But I’m just personally concerned/curious as to whether it’s natural or that G-word problem.
Guess I’ll have to go down to 8% bf and find out.

What G-word? gynecomastia? does your nipple look like it’s inflated or shaped lilke a dome, and goes back to normal when you’re cold?? If it does, you probably have it. Don’t worry. It’ll go away.
