Role: What does it mean when your breasts are itchy?
I am 15 and my breasts are itchy at least twice a month. My sister says your boobs go itchy around the time before you have your period. Is this true? If it isn’t, why are they itchy?

Well, what I think the cause for your problem could be your breast growing bigger or either dry skin affected. If not, the main cause could be something very simple as mild eczema or more serious like condition known as intertrigo. Intertrigo is much more common for women with large breasts so it could be the cause in your case too. Fortunately, all these conditions are treatable with simple ointments – if these symptoms persist for longer period of time I would suggest you to see your doctor and get a prescription for it.Answer by [email protected]
A lot of women experience breast discomfort near their period whether it be itching, aching or general pain. I don’t think its anything to worry about. Write down when you get itchy breasts and see if it correlates with your period.
