Curious Alice: How can I stop spam with my address as sender?
For the past few days I have been getting spam mails with my (yahoo) email address as the sender.
I don’t want to mark them as spam because it might get my mails to others going into the spam folder.
I have not had a problem with as much spam as this in a long while!

Anyone with a separate email program can use any name or address for the FROM address. I could change my name and address in seconds in Thunderbird to anything. It in no way indicates a problem. Spammers do it to keep mail from being returned to them. There is no way for you to stop it. You also can’t mark it as spam or you block yourself.
When your address is the FROM address and mail is returned you will receive all the errors.
