If you want an enforceable “note”, it needs to be dated, to include an unconditional promise to pay to a payee or to his order, a sum certain in money on or before a given date with interest at a stated rate, and be signed by you.Answer by Fred S
There is a simple form you can purchase AND IT’S ALL DONE IN A PROPER WAY SO THAT IT IS LEGALLY ENFORCEABLE. on-line, very inexpensive. You get to select the one you want, then print it. I did that one time for a friend. Google “Financial notes” You will have several choices.Answer by Ace
“I promise to pay the bearer on demand the sum of XXXX dollars”(or pounds, whatever) then sign itAnswer by nuggeteli
i don’t think there’s any standard or template for it.
if you want it to look professional, you can make it like so:
I ……………………….(your name), hereby declare that i owe …………………..( the other persons name) the amount of ……………….(the Price), borrowed on …………………(the date).to be paid in full by ………………………(the end date).
full name………………….. Signature……………..
lenders name………………… Signature……………..
witnessed by:…………………… Signature……………
