I am in insurance sales and my co worker keeps stealing business that I work hard to get. It means money out of my pocket. He also fools around all day while I work my but off. I have gone to management and they have talked to him but it is still happening. I am one of the top sales people and don’t want to quit my job but I can’t stand having to do all the work while he benefits from it.

I can only imagine how much it must suck. all I can say is try and see if you can record this and to pretty much prove that they are worthless and that you deserve what you are working for.

at my ex-job this lazy @$ $ #0L3 was sort of doing the same thing. chatting with the boss and not doing anything and he gets a raise and more hours than me?

anyway, see if you can talk to the main guy or girl in charge and provide solid evidence of this. (trust me if I could Id personally sufficate my ex co worker and the person you are talking about but I cant due to legal reasons)

BUT DEFINATELY don’t do something that will make you look bad. because one thing that I can say is that you can’t be held guilty of having a clean record. otherwise they will use that dirt on you.

Just keep documenting what he does and keep reporting him to management, How, exactly is he stealing your business? If your clients know to only deal with you, you shouldn’t have a problem. Do you have a cell phone that they can call instead of calling into the office? Maybe that will help in the mean time.

did u report him? if your the top sales person there they should make the time to listen to u. lol maybe u could some how catch him on video that would be funny.

i had this lady co-worker who ate peoples food for lunch and drank open sodas and stuff well one day another coworker and i put cigarette ashes and pee in the can and waited till she drank it….she did at the end of the day and was very mad/pissed. we all asked her if she was alright if she wanted to talk about it but she just brushed us off like usual. she didnt learn her lesson, maybe next time when everyones more fed-up she will. lol
