I drive a Commander and it seems every time I come upon a man driving a “low-rider” or a truck, they immediately zone into race mode….

They dont want to see any woman ‘come’ anywhere before them.

Don’t play into this game. Smile if you must make eye contact at all…Men can be really nuts in situations like this..give them ANY reason at all and they can follow you, harass you, etc. don’t give them the chance. Be smart. ♥

It is not just in larger vehicles.
My wife encounters the same thing when she is out driving in our Miata.
It is a vanity thing, I am not sure that it is because a woman in driving, I think there are just some people that want to prove they can drive better.
I have noticed that when I am driving the Miata there are drivers (both men and women) who seem think that they just have to pass me.
So maybe it is not a man vs woman thing, I am sure some women race you too.
