CH: How do I keep Windows Movie Maker from creating multiple movie clips from one imported clip?
Every time I try and import a movie file into Windows Movie Maker, it wants to break it up into multiple movie clips (sometimes hundreds!). It invariablly causes some kind of instability and the program closes.
Surely there’s a way to stop it from breaking it up like this?

if you hit the ‘cancel ‘ button while its creating the movies, it’ll load the big movie with out splitting it into parts.
Don’t know of any program which can do the job.
However, if I may ask, is the imported clip a movie of sorts?
surely it will produce hundreds of clips.
This involves the RAM, the amount of memory your PC uses to do tasks.
If you’re just finding specific clips in that imported clip, do try to just cut it out. however, if you need multiple clips, it maybe kinda hard, considering that it may produce hundreds.
Try Googling your question or something like
Windows Movie Maker multiple movie clips from one imported clip or something like that.

When you import big file, you will see a pop-up window. You can hit the ‘cancel ‘ button while its creating the movies, it’ll load the big movie with out splitting it into parts.
Good luck.
