Mukund: What needs to be done to put wife’s name in agreement for flat in her absence?
I am planning to buy a property (flat). I want that property to be in the name of me and my wife. However as my wife is at her home, she cannot put her signatures on the agreement copy.

In this case, what can I do ?
Will this require power of attorney to buy on her behalf ?

You can always add somebody to the property at a later date. Go ahead and complete the sale then add her when she is available.
