thereligiousrightisneither: Why would a kind and loving god arrange to have his own son executed on trumped-up charges?
Why would a kind and loving god wipe out all of humanity in a flood? Or kill a guy for practicing birth control? Or turn a woman into salt for daring to take one last look at her home?

So he could save this world of murders from their just damnation, and then change them.Answer by Ernest S
A righteous and loving God Who judges all sin and saves those who would turn from sin.
You obviously need to turn from your sin because if a Righteous and Loving God will judge sin you will be judged but if any god were less than that then you will have no hope whatsoever.

Answer by Randy McCessAccording to the story in the Bible, the New-Testament god Jehovah did it to ransom such of the Jews as accepted the sacrifice from their Old-Testament former owner Yahweh, who committed all those atrocities. Jesus knew he had to die. He had a choice when he was on the cross…he was even asked if he was really the son of God why didn’t he save himself. He had to be the sacrifice for the world’s sins.
He wiped out humanity because they were wicked. And Noah was faithful to Him so he spared him and his family’s lives.
I don’t know about that one?
And the women looked back because she wanted to go back to all the evil and wickedness she once lived in. This was a test from God to see basically which they wanted, God or wicked things.
