Falling in love” is a mainly Western term used to describe the process of moving from a feeling of neutrality towards someone to one of love. The usage of the term “fall” implies many things: that the process may have been in some way inevitable or uncontrollable, risky or putting the lover in a state of vulnerability, that the process is irreversible, or all of these things, in the same way the word “fall” is used in the phrase “to fall ill” or “to fall into a trap”. The term is generally used to describe an (eventual) love that is strong, although not necessarily permanent

They call it falling in love because nobody ever walked or rode a bike into love.
Its not something you plan on doing, it just happens.

Answer by A s h l e y
yes, bc it is known to get hurt.. but it could also be of in the way.. you would do anything for them.. so falling… get it?(:

Answer by pitybluesboy Blues 37 14-20-3-31
IT isn’t the falling that hurts. It’s where you land that determines the outcome of how well you are banged up.
Love is a form of growth and growth is about learning something or going through a new phase of life. In that one can go through some brutal things. Especially if that love is not grounded in both faith and sincerity.
I like to look at my love for my wife as this;
I fall in love everyday all over again as i try to never let my love for her become sedentary or stale from not growing as a couple.
In that the falling is never done and the ground is never hit to where i will be hurt beyond my own self healing and healing of her loving touch and passion for me.

Answer by LOML is back..kinda
its falling in love because the emotion is a process of falling deep into it.

you get the attracttion, then followed by affection then the intimate desire for the person.

you surrender yourself to the feelings that you slowly going deep and deeper into it.
