warwick2155: Why in Macdonalds adverts its always the skinniest people who are eating there?
Does anyone find it ironic that MacDonald’s adverts always have the skinniest people who are eating there
The last ad showed a guy getting out of his bed and heading to MacDonald’s for breakfast. The only thing that stood out was he was te skinniest person I had ever seen. Think Rodney Trotter. Its clearly Implemented on purpose

In Italy near Pompeii, all the customers were slim and gorgeous. I’m no fatty, but I looked like it next to them lot.
They always advertise with slim people, otherwise folk simply wouldn’t go there.

Even if they are not the skinniest people…they are slim, slender and sometimes lean meat. Im sure McD’s revenue will drop to almost zero if they only have fat ugly biotches on their ads.Answer by Dustint66
It is possible to maintain a healthy body weight and eat at mcdonalds. The key is in eating it in moderation and having a strong exercise regiment. But yes they do use fit people in thier ads. I guess them using overweight people would be like camel cigarettes using cancer patients!Answer by Martin T
Point well taken.
On a similar note, back when cigarette ads were legal, they never showed people who had a smokers cough. They never looked as if they were dying of cancer or heart disease either. Then there was the man who, as soon as he lit up his cigar, was chased by hoards of attractive young women. He fled back to his private mansion … it was really odd that he was able to run without getting short of breath.
That is not how tobacco used to affect me!
For that matter, have you ever seen anyone throw up in an ad for booze?
