KC: Is subway considered the typical “bad fast food”?
because I eat a lot of subway. the tuna sandwich with LOTS of vegetables and white bread. like really, I will have maybe 1-2 six inches a week. will this make me gain weight? how healthy is it for me? compared to other fast food? and what would you consider to be the most fattening fast food?
no, I don’t get cookies and I don’t drink soda haha
I get this:
white bread(low cal), american cheese, lettuce,tomatoes,pickles,olives,onions,banana peppers, mustard &mayo, sweet onion, tiny bit of chipotle, oil vinegar salt &pepper
anything I can take off that would help? I’m thinking maybe the oil?
and maybe if the tuna is very fattening I can switch to ham or turkey?

It is way better than all that processed, fatty sugar filled gunk they dish out at KFC, DcD, BK, PH and Dunking Donuts… at least there is some real food in there…actual calories that have some nutritional value…of course you would still get more for your money in a fruit and veg shop… just keep a couple of napkins and a pen knife in your pocket….oh and a wet wipe for after.
Too much of anything is bad for you. You should cut back on Subway, go to the grocery store and order a bunch of different foods. Hope this helps.Answer by tyghttadef

Fast food isn’t all bad . It’s all the “garbage ” we put on it that makes it bad for us . I love Subway , but , it’s no different than Mcdonalds , if you put bacon , or mayo on it .Answer by John Jacob jingle heimer shmit
I consider subway to be much healthier than average fast food. You won;t get fat from this so your ok. The most fattening food depends on what you are eating. More meat is more fatAnswer by nowwhat?
It is one of those places that can get unhealthy real quick. Like, say you order a ham and cheese sub. Sounds nice and normal right? Then you decide you want extra cheese, and you want it on that bread with the cheese baked on, and you put only lettuce and tomatoes on it, and then you decide you want mayo and mustard and that chipotle sauce, and oh look they have ranch too, and then you order two of those giant chocolate chocolate cookies they have and a large soda…..
See how quick it gets unhealthy?
The nutrition facts are all on their website. Check it out. Keep in mind those numbers fluctuate the more you add or take off.

Well it depends. It’s most likely better for you then McDonalds, Burger King, etc but if you get your sub with all the wrong things it can make it not so good anymore! When I get subway I have it on wheat bread and I get turkey, lettuce, & provolone cheese. I only eat 1 half of the sandwhich for my meal (save the other half) This is only around 300 calories and under 5 grams of fat! Which is alot better than a 800 calorie big mac! Fast food is usually not the way to go when trying to loose weight, but subway is one of the more healthy fast food options! Just watch what your getting on it and how much of it your eating! 🙂Answer by Marsha

Lettuce and tomato don’t really have much vitamin and mineral in them.
Even pickles and those mayo and mustard and olive… are just salt salt, and salty vinegar…
