I live in Houston and worked at a restaurant for 4 years as a server. I started at $ 2.13/hr + tips. After 2 years, I became a trainer and made $ 3.13/hr + tips. After a year I got a bonus, then at 3 years. There is not much more you can make at a restaurant because you earn tips. My checks always came out to zero because I claimed all my credit card tips to my taxes.
start at the bottom and work your way up (seniority) !!!Answer by pandabears05
You start at minimum wage and get raises based on performance. At Wendy’s they do the raises every six months and in my area they are only allowed to give up to ten cents per raise. So in the four and a half years I have worked there I haven’t even gone up a dollar. It just goes by the company but you are most likely going to start a minimum wage no matter where you go.
