I have no problem with people celebrating or not celebrating different holidays. But you don’t suddenly change the title of the tree, it is a Christmas tree!

The only REAL “Christmas Tree”- is the One You set up in Your House. The ones you see out in Public- are whatever Names people choose to call them… And in a Pluralistic Society like Ours, those trees can have a LOT of different Names ! 😉

haha you’re right, me too i still want it to be called Christmas tree and not holiday tree same thing with Merry Christmas and not just Happy holiday as if so general in nature. Some people think those who are not celebrating Christmas will get offended if they are greeted with Merry Christmas and so they invented this word Happy holiday haha… I think we should stick to the old way of celebrating Christmas, because we are not offended by other religion’s festivals and other celebrations. Because ppl are trying to be politically correct to the point that it’s silly. You and I can call it a Christmas tree! BTW, the Rockefeller Center (in NYC) official website now simply calls it “the tree.” Commentators on tv for the most part still call it the “Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center.” Sadly, in many big cities, more than a few ppl will give you dirty looks when you say “Merry Christmas.” Merry Christmas!

Because people are ridiculously picky these days. If it was a x-mas tree to begin with, it’s always going to be a x-mas tree whether or not they like it.
