Lauri S: Where can I buy a Rosemary “Christmas tree” in Utah?
My husband and I live in a tiny apartment in Provo. I refuse to get a plastic tree for christmas, and have decided to try to get a mini “tree” made of a rosemary plant. I just have no idea where to buy such a thing. Is there a nursery in Utah County or up in Salt Lake that would sell them?

Those Rosemary Christmas Trees are trimmed to that shape…I have even seen small ones for sale in Wal Mart. “Davesgarden.com” sells them…or if you can find a shrub at a local nursery that is trimmable, that would be less expensive. They are of course potted so you will enjoy them every year & all year. Just keep them away from heaters & blowing warm air so they will not dry out & die while indoors. Keep outdoors after the holiday. ( side note, a sprig on your dash board will make your car smell great..the sun heats it up )

I have seen rosemary christmas trees in some of the supermarkets at Christmas. They run around
$ 25 and I was not too impressed. I found a cute one on1 800 flowers I’m thinking of ordering if I can
not find one locally before Christmas. It is $ 39.99 and is in a toy drum container. It’s a little bit
more money then I intended on spending but I think the quality should be good and you always
can use it the rosemary for cooking after the holidays… I think it should grow back. Another thought, if you go on their website and sign up for email notifications sometimes they offer 10 to 20% discounts.
Another idea is just to go to a local florist, as they may have vendors they can order from that may give them a preferred price. I hope this helps! Have a Blessed Christmas
