Why do people say kissing a smoker is like kissing an ashtray?

Kurt V: Why do people say kissing a smoker is like kissing an ashtray?
I’m a non-smoker and have kissed girls that smoke. Sure there is a tobacco taste, but it’s not that dissimilar to kissing someone who drinks coffee – and people don’t say they taste of burnt coffee granules!

depends on the person. i’ve known women who smoke and have had no trouble/problem kssing them. i’ve also known people i couldn’t stand to get closer than 4′ to as they smell hideous.

You are obviously not as sensitive as others are. There is a bit of shock value for the smokers and it seems that smokers are fair game these days. Socially, we are permitted to be as rude as we like with them.

Good question.I don’t drink coffee or smoke but since smoking
is on par with snorting coke or shooting up (at least to some),
these people feel they have a ‘carte blanche’ to behave rudely
to smokers.Not unlike the way a lot of fat people think that
they can walk up to a slender woman or girl and ask her if she has
an eating disorder.Just plain bad manners. 😐
